After successfully parachuting from JD368, Darvill was immediately taken by Gerard Degueldre of Harveng, Belgium, to the home of Achille Jaupart at 6 Rue Esquerbion at Givry where he stayed 19 days.

Après avoir réussi son saut en parachute, Darvill a été immédiatement emmené par Gérard Degueldre d’Harveng en Belgique, dans la maison d’Achille Jaupart à 6 Esquerbion Rue à Givry où il est resté 19 jours.

He was then taken to « Marie Van Bever », actual name Marie Simoens, who was the mistress of collaborator/ »V-Mann » (Vertrauens Mann), Jules Renuart. He was taken by train to Brussels where he was arrested and jailed at St. Gilles Prison before being transported to Germany as a PoW to Stalag IVB at Muhlberg-Elbe.

Il a ensuite été emmené à « Marie Van Bever », son vrai nom Marie Simoens, qui était la maîtresse du collaborateur / « V-Mann » (Vertrauens Mann), Jules Renuart. Il a été transporté par train jusqu’à Bruxelles, où il a été arrêté et emprisonné à la prison de Saint-Gilles, avant d’être transporté en Allemagne comme prisonnier de guerre au Stalag IVB à Muhlberg-Elbe.
